Grass roots sports is vital to a thriving community and this award seeks to recognise the unsung heroes who show up week in and week out. come rain or shine.
Employee of the Year
Judges will be looking for an individual who is an exemplar in their role. The winner of this award will go over and above to deliver and exceed expectations.
Best Hospitality Venue
Ulverston is packed with amazing venues large and small - and we're looking for the best. The winner of this award will be decided by the community.
Environment & Sustainability
We are looking for an individual, team, business or group which has introduced a change resulting in a positive impact on environmental, social or ethical factors that contribute to sustainable development.
Business in the Community
This category will recognise a business that makes a positive difference in the community - this could be volunteering, financial donations or lending a helping hand
Teacher of the Year
Our teacher of the year will be recognised for their approach to learning, their ability to inspire young people and their dedication to making education fun.

Award
The Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to an individual who has shown exceptional levels of commitment over a sustained period. This could be in any field, from charitable to commercial, sports to the arts or community to business. Judges will be looking for specific examples of how nominees have excelled in their field and made an ongoing and positive contribution.
